Antonio Deon Tarver is an American athlete who competed in boxing. He participated in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, obtaining a bronze medal in light heavyweight.
He won a gold medal at the 1995 World Amateur Boxing Championship and a gold medal at the 1995 Pan American Games.2 In February 1997 he played his first professional fight.
In April 2003, he won the WBC and IBF international titles, in the light heavyweight category; in May 2005, he additionally won the WBA and IBO international light-middleweight titles. In his professional career he had a total of 38 fights, with a record of 31 wins, 6 losses and one draw.
