Bellator is back with a thrilling bout. A pair of 145-pound fighters are set to meet on March 12.
On Wednesday, Bellator MMA announced that it was returning to St. Louis for the first time since 2015 to set the featherweight title eliminator set for the main event, featuring Adam Borics (17-1) 's Mads Burnell. (16-3) will compete.
Borics (17-1) has been on an impressive run late. Her only defeat came at the hands of former bantamweight champion Darrion Caldwell at the Baletter Featherweight World Grand Prix, but the Hungarian did well with three straight decisive victories.
Burnell (16-3) is a former UFC contender and Cage Warriors champion who has won seven fights. He has been unbeaten since joining the promotion in October 2020 and decided to raise the rating against Emmanuel Sanchez in July 2021.
The winner will have the right to face the winner of the re-match of Bellator's upcoming featherweight title between champion A.J. McKee and former champion Patricio Putbal.
Featherweight title eliminator card is not the only big fight. Former Belletter Light Heavyweight Champion Phil Davis (23-6) competed against the most recent lightweight heavyweight title challenger Julius Anglickas (10-2) in a crucial bout for the divisional rankings. Bellator is trying to bounce back Anglickas after a fourth-round defeat to champion Vadim Nemkov in 268, while Davis is trying to make it two in a row, winning by a split against Yoel Romero last September.
Also on the card is a welterweight match between Jay-Jay Wilson (8-0) and Gadzhi Rabadanov (16-4-2) and a light heavyweight match between Alex Polizzi (9-1) and Jose Augusto (7-2). There will be competition. 1 NC).
