The only promotional event in June, Bellator 282, takes place on Friday at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville and includes 14 bouts, including a middleweight title fight and two Bantamweight Grand Prix tournaments.
In the main event, two-time and current middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi (49-7-2) will defend his title against unbeaten top-ranked contender Johnny Ebelin (11-0). With nearly 60 fights in his two-decade career, Moussais gained vast experience despite being just six years older than Challenger.
In the main competition, bad blood boils over as bitter rivals Leandro Higo (21-3 MMA, 4-3 BMMA) and Danny Sabatello (12-1 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) in the Grand Prix quarterfinals. Also part of the tournament, Enrique Barzola (18-5-1 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) will face Magomed Magomedov (18-2 MMA, 2-1 BMMA).
