Bobby Green vs. Jalin Turner Set for UFC Austin Co-Main Event

Bobby Green has a new opponent for his next fight. The UFC announced on Thursday that Green will face Jalin Turner in the co-main event of UFC Austin, which takes place on Dec. 2 at Moody Center in Texas. Turner steps in for Dan Hooker, who had to pull out of the fight due to an arm injury.

Hooker suffered the same arm injury that he did in his split decision win over Turner at UFC 290 in July, according to UFC president Dana White. The fight between Green and Hooker was originally scheduled for five rounds, but it will now be a three-round bout with Turner filling in on short notice.

Green is coming off two impressive finishes of Tony Ferguson and Grant Dawson in his last two fights.

Turner is looking to bounce back from two close split decision losses to Hooker and Mateusz Gamrot in his last two fights.
