Bobby Lashley is far from calling it quits. At 48 years old, the former WWE star is exploring new avenues in his career, including a potential return to combat sports. After a successful six-year run in WWE, marked by multiple title reigns, Lashley’s profile has been moved to the alumni section of WWE's website, signaling his departure from the active roster. However, this transition doesn’t end Lashley’s athletic journey.

In a recent interview on The Bo and Them Show in Dallas, Lashley shared his thoughts on the next chapter of his career. “I’m doing it all,” he declared, emphasizing that he feels rejuvenated and ready for new challenges. Lashley’s openness to various opportunities includes not just a return to professional wrestling but also a possible dive back into the world of combat sports, where he first made a name for himself outside of the WWE ring.

Lashley’s combat sports resume is impressive. With a background in amateur wrestling, where he won three NAIA national championships, Lashley transitioned to MMA with an undefeated 5-0 start. He made waves in promotions like Strikeforce and Bellator, continuing his winning streak. Despite putting his MMA career on hold when he returned to WWE in 2018, Lashley’s passion for combat sports never faded.

Now, Lashley is weighing his options, including an intriguing offer from a boxing promotion.

“A boxing company called me and offered me a legit matchup,” Lashley revealed, adding that he has been training in boxing and is excited about the possibility.

While he hasn’t ruled out a return to MMA, Lashley’s immediate focus seems to be on the squared circle, where he could once again showcase his versatility as an athlete. Even as he explores these new opportunities, Lashley hasn’t closed the door on professional wrestling. Now a free agent, he remains dedicated to his wrestling fans, who continue to support him.

“Wrestling, I still want to wrestle,” Lashley said. “I love wrestling, and the fans write me every day, ‘When are you coming back? Where are you going? I don’t care where you go, we want to be there for you.’”

With a wealth of experience and still plenty of energy left, Lashley is ready to embrace whatever comes next, whether it’s in the ring, the cage, or the boxing ring.
