Boxer Chantelle Cameron Ends Partnership with Trainer Jamie Moore

Chantelle Cameron has parted ways with trainer Jamie Moore, as announced at the Josh Taylor-Jack Catterall II press conference in Manchester. Moore, who also trains Catterall, described the split as amicable but admitted to being unsure of the reasons behind it.

The duo had a successful partnership, with Cameron achieving significant milestones under Moore's guidance. She became the undisputed junior welterweight women's champion by unifying all four belts with a victory over Jessica McCaskill. In her next fight, she defended her titles by defeating the legendary Katie Taylor in Ireland.

Despite their success, Moore confirmed the end of their professional relationship, stating, "We just decided to go our separate ways. We didn't fall out, I wish her all the best. I will always love her, we had a great ride together, but we are not working together now."

Cameron had originally started her career with Shane McGuigan before joining forces with Moore in 2019. While their collaboration yielded impressive results, including a majority decision win over Taylor, Cameron suffered a loss to Taylor in their rematch last November.

Regarding the possibility of a third fight between Taylor and Cameron, Moore expressed uncertainty, stating, "I have no idea what is going on with Katie Taylor versus Chantelle Cameron III."
