The UFC Vegas 90 main event lineup has seen a last-minute change as Chris Curtis steps in to replace Marvin Vettori in a highly anticipated showdown against Brendan Allen.

Following the news of Vettori's withdrawal from the scheduled bout, the UFC wasted no time in finding a replacement, with Chris Curtis, ranked No. 14 in the UFC middleweight division, stepping up to take on Allen on April 6.

This isn't the first time Curtis has been called upon to rescue a fight card. Previously, he filled in on short notice against Allen at UFC Vegas 44, where he secured a second-round TKO victory, showcasing his resilience and skills in the octagon.

Since then, Curtis has had a mixed run, with notable wins and losses in his UFC career, including a recent split decision victory over Marc-Andre Barriault at UFC 297.

On the other hand, Allen has been on a remarkable winning streak, claiming six consecutive victories in the UFC's middleweight division, five of which came via rear-naked choke submissions. His latest triumph was a submission win over Paul Craig in the main event of UFC Vegas 82.

With both fighters known for their impressive performances and ability to finish fights, the upcoming matchup between Curtis and Allen promises to deliver fireworks and excitement for MMA fans.

Stay tuned for UFC Vegas 90 as Curtis and Allen go head-to-head in what is sure to be a thrilling main-event clash.
