Dana White on PFL Buying Bellator: "Both are failed companies"

Dana White has offered his opinion on the ongoing rumors that the PFL MMA is trying to acquire Bellator MMA.

Recently, there has been a lot of speculation that Bellator, which is owned by the US-based media company Paramount Global, may change hands.

Bellator MMA was reportedly put on the market earlier this year, with its existing owners searching for new purchasers. The Todd Atkins Show recently revealed that PFL, owned by American entrepreneur Donn Davis, is on the verge of acquiring Bellator.

UFC president Dana White laughed off rumors that PFL was buying Bellator during the post-fight news conference for UFC Vegas 73 White said that PFL and Bellator are both unsuccessful businesses.

"I'm hearing that they [PFL] are raising money right now, you know, 280 million, 300 million -- I don't know what the number is -- from the Middle East. And I've done a lot of business in the Middle East. Those guys are sharp."
"I don't know who in the hell would give them [PFL] 280 million dollars because I'm hearing they're buying Bellator. Right? So, you're an organization that's burning cash, you have no ratings, and selling no tickets.
And you're gonna raise 280 million to buy a company that's burning cash, sells no tickets, and does no ratings. Sounds f**king absolutely genius to me."
