Davis and Garcia sign contracts for bout set on April 15 according to ESPN

According to insiders cited by ESPN's Mike Coppinger, Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis have formalized their much-discussed fight by signing contracts for a 136-pound catchweight match on April 15. This fight is expected to be one of the most marketable in the history of boxing.

Las Vegas will serve as the fight's location.

According to the most recent information, DAZN, who has a network agreement with Garcia, has now received a duplicate of the fighter's signed contract for them to approve on their end. The fight will now officially be delivered after that is finished, which is anticipated to happen over the weekend.

This fight had plenty of its own road bumps along the way, in addition to the usual pitfalls that many boxing negotiations encounter, such as their respective sides publicly arguing over who should control the rights to a rematch and Davis recently pleading guilty to a hit-and-run offense that will likely result in him serving at least some jail time after this upcoming fight.

But since this is boxing, there's still plenty of time for things to go wrong before then, so for now, let's start preparing for what should be an exciting news conference and fight.
