MMA fans were shocked when boxing legend Deontay Wilder attended PFL 4 on June 8 during their live broadcast.
According to talkSports' Simon Jordan on April 12, Saudi Arabia is interested in having Wilder fight Joshua in December as well as World Boxing Council Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury challenging World Boxing Association, World Boxing Organisation, and International Boxing Federation Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk in a title unification fight.
Hearn provided an update in an interview with iFL on June 8 by revealing that he has received a non-binding offer from Saudi Arabia.
The expected heavyweight fight between Wilder and Joshua appears to be going well, but "The Bronze Bomber" hasn't stopped considering other possibilities.
When Wilder made an appearance at PFL 4, he updated Randy Couture, Sean O'Connell, and Kenny Florian on his fighting career and let them know that he might be boxing in August or September. "The Bronze Bomber" exhibited interest in MMA combat when O'Connell inquired about it.
“Aye Francis, if you listening, we discussed this before, and hey, we got many space and opportunity to discuss it once more. Aye, I'm looking for a two-fight crossing over. I'm willing to just go in the octagon as well as the original plans, but you know, the fans want to see it. I want to be a part of it. So let's give them what they want to see," said Wilder.
