'Devin Haney vs Vasyl Lomachenko on the verge of being announced'

Bill Haney believes an announcement on his son, undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney (29-0, 14 KOs), and #1 WBC Vasyl Lomachenko will be made soon.

Bill points out that he will not be making the announcement for the Haney vs. Lomachenko fight because that will be left to the promoters.

Lomachenko is the man Team Haney has been looking for for a long time, and they're finally getting the fight after a long wait. It's a good thing Haney is getting the fight with Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs), the 34-year-old former three-division world champion, because he's virtually outgrown the 135-pound class.

If the Lomachenko bout does not take place soon, Loma will have wasted his chance, unless he is interested in fighting Haney at 140 pounds.

Lomachenko is already tiny for his weight class. The last thing he needs is to move up to light welterweight in order to face Haney.

Meanwhile, Bill has been tauntingTeofimo Lopez Sr by releasing videos of himself attempting to locate him in order to discuss putting on a fight with Teo and Devin.

Teofimo Jr. has a fight against Sandor Martin on ESPN+ on December 10th, and he might lose to that guy. If Teofimo is defeated by Sandor, he may as well quit, as Mikey Garcia did after losing to the Spaniard.

When asked about the tentative date he told the media “I think we could have an announcement soon,” said Bill Haney to Fighthype about the Devin Haney vs. Vasyl Lomachenko fight. “If I did know the date, I wouldn’t say nothing because that’s not my job to announce it. My job is to try and deliver it,” said Bill.
