Erickson Lubin vs Sebastian Fundora Fight card, Review, Date and time, weigh-in results

There will be many great boxing matches on Saturday, April 9, but

Erickson Lubin of Orlando, Florida (24-1, 17k) and Sebastian Fundora (18-0-1, 12k) of West Palm Beach, Florida compete for the interim WBC Super Welterweight title at the Virgin Hotel Los Theater. Can be the most competitive.

Like Fundora (18-0-1, 12 KOs) is an undefeated and dangerous fighter, but he looked flat against Sergio Garcia in December. Funodora won by a unanimous decision, but it was not his best performance.

Fundora is two years younger than Lubin, but there is no age factor in this matchup. Height and reach are always considered for the fight of Fundora.

With a 6-foot reach and 6-foot-6, Fandora is nicknamed 'The Towering Inferno'. Both figures are out for a super welterweight.

Lubin (24-1, 17 KOs) lost to Jermell Charlo in a stunning Round 1 knockout in 2017. It was his only title shot, but Lubin won his next six matchups, four knockouts.

Lubin's winning streak helped fans and pundits forget his performance against Charlo. The 26-year-old from Florida dropped former Unified Super Welterweight Champion Jeison Rosario twice in June 2021 on the way to Round 6 TKO.

Boxing fans can watch Lubin vs. Fundora live on showtime in the United States and other countries. The date when the event is broadcast live in the UK and Australia is Sunday, April 10.
