Everyone is in awe of Khamzat Chimaev

Khamzat Chimaev, a UFC welterweight standout, has built a path of destruction along route to championship contention since making his promotional debut in 2020.

"Borz" achieved a record-breaking three victories in 66 days, including two victories at 170 pounds and one at middleweight. The Chechen-born Swede demonstrated his grappling abilities against John Phillips and Rhys McKee, and he also displayed his punching strength against Gerald Meerschaert.

Gilbert Burns, Kevin Holland, and Li Jingliang have all been added to Chimaev's list of undefeated opponents. However, given the specifics of his match with "Trailblazer," the emerging star has been unsure of his divisional standing.

Although some have suggested moving up to 185 pounds and others have advocated winning the welterweight title, Chimaev has long seemed certain of winning both divisions—and perhaps even another.

Chimaev can be seen working out at the Allstar Training Centre in Stockholm with a number of well-known athletes in a recent video that he posted to his YouTube page. Irman Smajić is among them, along with fellow UFC fighter Volkan Oezdemir.

"He's a f*cking animal, brother," Smajić said to the camera. "He's a f*cking animal. In the beginning, I had at least my size and power (as an advantage). There's nothing more with that. He goes through that, he goes through. Punches, everything; he's a f*cking beast."
