Featherweight Nathaniel Wood set to make his UFC Comeback

Nathaniel Wood, a rising featherweight contender in the UFC, has his next fight scheduled for his comeback in 2023.

At UFC London in July, Wood will make his featherweight comeback and face the dangerous Andre Fili. Following initial rumors, reports confirmed Wood vs. Fili booking.

Wood makes a comeback after postponing his next fight earlier this year due to a self-described "freak accident."

Prior to pulling out of the fight due to an injury at UFC 286, he was originally scheduled to fight Lerone Murphy.

Following several challenging weight cuts, Wood switched from bantamweight to featherweight last year. Prior to winning over Charles Jourdain at UFC Paris in September, he defeated Charles Rosa in his 145-pound debut.

Against the seasoned Fili, the former Cage Warriors bantamweight champion Wood will try to continue his good run at featherweight.

In the Octagon, Fili has recorded victories and defeats since making his UFC debut in 2013. In the UFC, he has triumphed over opponents like Dennis Bermudez, Artem Lobov, and Sheymon Moraes.

Tom Aspinall and Marcin Tybura's heavyweight fight is the main event of the UFC's return to London. The event is scheduled for July 22 at The O2 Arena.
