He was "Tuff as Nails". José "Pipino" Cuevas


Master of a devastating left hook, Jose "Pipino" Cuevas became the youngest Welterweight Champ in history at age 18. He was WBA Welterweight Champ from 1976-80, with a record of 35 wins, 15 losses, 31 wins by KO. He fought in the golden era of middleweights, he fought Duran, Hagler, Hearns and Leonard need I say more about this mexican boxing legend.
