Holloway vs Rodriguez for Nov 13th

A new highly anticipated featherweight fight between Max Holloway and Yair Rodriguez has been set. On Friday, ESPN first reported that Holloway vs. Rodriguez had been lined up to be featured on the UFC's November 13th fight card.

The pair were originally expected to face UFC on ESPN in July, until Holloway's injury pushed the match back. The report also states that the UFC is hopeful that the card will be broadcast on ABC. No location determined yet.

Both are in the top 5 of the Featherweight Division, with the winner of the event likely to compete for the UFC Featherweight title against the winner of tonights UFC 266's Alex Volkanowski vs. Brian Ortega Fight.

Holloway (22-6) would like to position himself for another shot at their old title with a win in the event. After losing consecutive battles against Alexander Volkanovski, Holloway returned to the winning column against Calvin Kattar in July.

Yair Rodriguez (13-2, 1NC) will be seen playing the spoiler. "El Pantera" won against Jeremy Stephens in October 2019. The lack of activity has severely affected Mexico's featherweight, who has not competed in two years. After several rounds with Zabit Megomedsharipov, Rodriguez headed for Holloway.

The UFC's November 13th event does not yet have a venue or broadcast plan that has been officially announced, but the promotion is expected to feature all Fight Night programs at the Apex in Las Vegas this year.

Fight.TV wants to know, do you think Holloway or Rodriguez will win this bout?
