Last Saturday in Phoenix Arizona, the former world title contender, Jesús Estrella Ruiz returned to the ring after a little over a year and a half inactivity, his return was successful as he defeated veteran Germán Meraz.

Ruiz once fought for the WBC super bantamweight world title against Leo Santa Cruz.
