José Benavidez Jr Returns

This Saturday in Maryland, former WBA super lightweight interim world champion José Benavidez Jr will make his return to the ring after a 1 year inactivity. Benavidez had his last fight in July 2022 losing to Danny Garcia. Benavidez Jr obtained the interim title defeating Mauricio Herrera, this title was defended against Jorge Paez JR.

His rival on Saturday will be the Bosnian Sladan Janjan, former World Boxing Foundation international champion, and UBF European champion.
