Tomorrow in Oklahoma former world champion George Kambosos will look to win a new world title when he faces current IBO world champion Maxi Hughes for the IBO Lightweight world title at an event presented by Top Rank Boxing, Di Bella Entertainment and Holden Productions.
Kambosos was crowned WBA, IBF, WBO Lightweight World Champion after defeating Teofimo Lopez, he would lose these titles in his first defense against Devin Haney, to whom he would later lose in a revenge fight. Maxi Hughes was crowned world champion beating Jovanni Straffon, accumulates 2 defenses of said title, the last one against Kid Galahad.
