Kayla Harrison to face Aspen Ladd at the PFL World Championship

Kayla Harrison will face a new opponent in Aspen Ladd at the PFL World Championship card. Harrison has not fought since her first career loss to Larissa Pacheco at PFL 10 a year ago. She had expressed interest in fighting Cris Cyborg, but that plan was scrapped for now. She was scheduled to fight Julia Budd later this month, but Budd was removed for not meeting her contractual obligations, as per the PFL announcement.

Aspen Ladd, on the other hand, is coming off a submission victory over Karolina Sobek in June. She has a positive record in the PFL, despite missing the playoffs. She also beat Julia Budd by a split decision in her PFL debut last November. She will try to pull off a surprise win over Harrison. The PFL 10 card is already loaded with big names and title fights. It also features the PFL debut of Derek Brunson, a former UFC contender, who will take on Ray Cooper III.

This catchweight fight is an exciting addition to the card. With both women’s futures uncertain, this PFL 10 fight is a must-see
