When we talk about Scottish boxers, we definitely have to talk about Ken Buchanan, a boxer who had a total of 69 fights as a professional. He made his debut in 1965 and retired in 1982, winning 61 fights and losing just 8 times. He was crowned lightweight world champion in 1970 in Panama when he defeated the favorite and world champion at that time Ismael Laguna. He was the WBA and WBC lightweight world champion.
