KSW 70 - On May 28, KSW will return to action with its 70th edition. Which is considered to be the most dangerous card ever. In the main event, two legends of Polish MMA will face each other.
A heavyweight super fight between five-time "world's strongest man" Mariusz Pudzianowski and former middleweight champion Michal Materla will headline KSW 70 on May 28.
Pudzianowski and Materla are two of the most popular athletes in KSW history, and according to one release, "both men are credited with influencing the development of KSW and are sports icons in their native Poland."
Pudzianowski, 45, is on the verge of winning four times, in which he has knocked out all his opponents by knockout or technical knockout. Most recently, a member of the WCA Fight Team knocked out Serigne Ousmane Dia, also known as "Bombardier", at KSW 64 last October in 18 seconds. Pedzianovsky has set a 16-7 career mark in the MMA, which includes victories against Rolls-Royce, Oli Thompson, Sean McCarl, Jay Silva and Bob Sepp.
Matrilla, 38, has won four of his last five professional bouts and is coming off a first-round TKO victory over Jason Radcliffe on January 15 at KSW 66. He competed primarily for 185 pounds during his tenure, winning the KSW 19 over Silva and then defending it four times, with a Polish promotion belt. His resume includes notable wins against Kendall Grove, Rodney Wallace, Thomas Drewall, Paulo Thiago and Rosemar Palhars.
In the co-main event, Polish kickboxer Radek Peczuski will celebrate his debut at KSW. In his last K1 fight in the summer of 2021, he defeated Ricarda's Kulis by TKO in the first round. With 21 wins out of 23 fights, not only does he have considerable stand-up experience, but in 2019 he has already fought three MMA fights in the ACA where he has won three times, two of them from time to time. First. His opponent will also be announced in the coming weeks.
The KSW 70 will make headlines with a Legend vs. Legend clash between the world's strongest man Mariusz Podzyanowski (16-7) and former KSW middleweight champion Michal Materla (31-8). Available to watch on KSWTV. com and Viaplay exclusively in selected areas of Europe.
