LFA 133: Stack vs. Delano set for June 3

LFA CEO Ed Soares said he would return to Colorado in June. LFA 133 will feature a featherweight world title fight when the promotion goes to Denver's "Mile High City". This will be the ninth LFA event in the state of Colorado.

LFA 133: Stack vs. Delano taking place on Friday, June 3, at Magness Arena in Colorado. The main event will feature a featherweight title fight between top US candidate Michael Stack and top Brazilian prospect Jose Delano.

Stack vs. Delano preview

Stack (7-1) signed with the LFA in just 25 years. The 27-year-old Colorado native has since spent the last two years respecting his abilities inside the LFA Octagon. At the time, Stack was busy compiling four wins, his only blow in a fight against Kai Kamaka III, which nominated him for the LFA Fan's Choice Awards: Fight of the Year 2020. An even more impressive year in 2021, a pair of wins against Tongan Prospect Jordan Mepa and BJJ black belt Jackson Filho who nominated him for the LFA Fans' Choice Awards: The Best Male Fighter of the Year in 2021. Trials MMA product launched. With the victory over Caio Gregório in 2022 and now following in the footsteps of his teammate Justin Gonzalez, who won the LFA Featherweight title in 2020. Stack will have the opportunity to retain the ballot in the state in LFA 133.

Delano (10-2) wants to finish his unfinished business on June 3. The Brazilian was training for his LFA debut at LFA 126, where he had to face the unbeaten Gabriel Braga at the top to start the main card. However, when Rafael Barbosa withdrew from the title fight during Fight Week, Delano jumped at the chance to fight for the LFA Featherweight title in the main event. Unfortunately, Delano missed the two-pound mark and was unable to win the title against Jonas Bilharinho the next night. The 25-year-old did not let his attention be distracted from the task and by a unanimous decision defeated the highly capable Bilharinho. Now the talented Brazilian top team (BTT) product, a supporter of former UFC champion and MMA legend Murilo Bustamante, is trying to finish the job by bringing home the LFA Featherweight title in his international debut when he won the LFA 133. I will face Stack.
