Lorenzo Hunt vs. Mike Richman set as the main event for BKFC KnuckleMania 3 on Feb. 17

Following its busiest calendar year for events to date, BKFC is focusing on its 2023 agenda.

BKFC officials validated the speculations on Wednesday involving a potential title unification bout between Lorenzo Hunt and Mike Richman. A light heavyweight title unification bout will serve as the main event of BKFC KnuckleMania 3 which is scheduled for February 17th, 2023, in Albuquerque.

In addition to the announcement of the main event, it is believed that on the very same card, a fight has been planned for a multi-time boxing champion Austin Trout who will be looking to make his BKFC first appearance which will act as a co-main event of the night. The challenger for the champion is yet to be picked.

Lorenzo Hunt has been a serious threat to the division since his appearance in BKFC and has a well-decorated record. Hunt has been among the least energetic and productive combatants in the sport, and he has won titles in two separate weight classes. Hunt has achieved tremendous victories over well-known opponents including Quentin Henry, Joe Riggs, and Hector Lombard.

A former Bellator fighter dubbed Mike Richman has a clean 4-0 score after opting to move to the bare-knuckle competition which turned out to be in his favor. Richman overcame Isaac Doolittle in a brutal match in October to win the interim light heavyweight title.

It is anticipated that even more title fights will be included in the final verse and provide their fans with a thrill to witness. BKFC has undoubtedly made KnuckleMania one of the finest cards of the year for the company.
