Magomed Umalatov Out of PFL World Tournament 1 After Missing Weight

The 2025 PFL World Tournament 1 suffered a last-minute shakeup as Magomed Umalatov was forced out of the competition after missing weight during Wednesday’s weigh-ins in Orlando, Florida. Umalatov stepped onto the scale at 173.6 pounds, exceeding the welterweight limit of 171 pounds, which resulted in his removal from the tournament.
Stepping in as an alternate, Joseph Luciano will replace Umalatov and face Logan Storley in the welterweight quarterfinals.
