Manny Pacquiao Fight With Spence Cancelled

Manny Pacquiao was set to fight undefeated champion Errol Spence Jr on August 21st. The fight was just cancelled due to Spence being found to have a torn retina in his left eye. This very well could have been the biggest fight of the year. The boxing community is highly disappointed to be hearing this.

Manny is the only boxer in the world to hold titles from 3 different decades. Errol is undefeated with a record of 27-0-0 and 21 of his wins coming from knockout. Manny is 62-7-2 with 39 of his wins coming via knockout. This would have been a clash of generational warriors and us fight fans are immensely sad to find out this one got cancelled.

Yordenis Yugas has agreed to replace Spence and will be defending his WBA Welterweight title against Pacman. Yugas is 26-4-0 with 12 of his wins coming via knockout. This might not be the fight we all wanted to see but it's a fight we're gonna watch regardless!

Spence's fight being cancelled was due to his retinal tearing which was discovered during a routine health checkup. Do you agree with the call from his camp on this? What do you think about his replacement, Yugas? Who should Manny Fight Next? Let us know!
