Matt Brown Tests Positive for COVID-19, Out of Barberena Fight at UFC on ESPN 31

As we mentioned in our previous report the full report of the major UFC event which is going to take place on 4th December and said that the unfortunate and unhappiness can happen anytime and anywhere then the proof is that Matt Brown will have to wait a little longer for his 29th walk in the UFC Cage. On Tuesday, Brown (23-18 MMA, 16-12 UFC) announced his removal from the UFC on ESPN 31 due to COVID-19 on social media after testing positive for the virus. Brown, 40, also revealed that he is symbolic. It is not clear Whether his regular rival Bryan Barberena (15-8 MMA, 6-6 UFC) will stay on the card or not. Brown added: "I was sick at the weekend but now I'm feeling better for the most part. Lost smell today. I went out jogging today and my lungs burned. I thought maybe it was just cold but Maybe I'm still sick. I'll get over it soon and get out. " Brown, 40, is coming down from the second-round knockout of Dhiego Lima on June 19. He has won three of his last five octagon matches. Brown's opponent Barberina (15-8), on the other hand, is 1-3 in her last four and is losing to Jason Witt in UFC Vegas 33 earlier this year. The contest ended in a majority decision - and took home the Fight of the Night honors. Brown is one of the longest-serving fighters on the promotion roster. It cannot be said yet Will the UFC look for an alternative to Brown, or try to reorganize the fight at a later date? The UFC on ESPN 31 takes place on December 4, 2021, at Apex in Las Vegas.
