A video is going viral of Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane point sparring. It turns out that the Cameroonian moved to France to further his MMA career, where he was a training partner of Gane. The two actually know each other fairly well and seem to show a mutual respect towards the other.
Ciryl Gane has since come out and stated - "Training is something, but the fight is another." Acknowledging that although he seemed to hold his own against Ngannou, actually fighting him may be a whole other story. "For me it's just a sport. I want to make a show. I want to make a performance. This is my job, I just want to make money."
Gane also included that he has everyone asking him about the end of the year. If we might see the two heavyweight titans show down before 2021 comes to a close. Gane says it's possible but he also has a child on the way and wants some time to rest between his recent bout with Derrick Lewis.
