Khamzat Chimaev has taken the UFC by storm ever since arriving in the promotion as the Borz has overcome every hurdle put in his way by Dana White.
Now the ‘Borz’ wants to take this hype train to a newer level as he seeks an opponent for his next fight. But apparently can’t seem to do so.
Chimaev has been calling out everyone in the UFC but nobody wants to face the 28-year-old. Chimaev has so far competed seven times in the octagon, winning all of them comprehensively.
The Chechnyan-born fighter was last seen in action against Kevin Holland at UFC 279 in September where he submitted the latter with a D’Arce choke in the opening round. Since then, Chimaev has been on the hunt for a new fight and has even proclaimed for a title shot.
“Nobody wants to fight,” Chimaev said in his most recent VLOG. “F*ck these boys. They gave me four different countries, four different opponents. Nobody wants to fight.”
Chimaev feels like he should be given a title shot as he is frustrated by the antics of his peers who keep on ducking him. Chimaev is open to a title shot either at Welterweight or Middleweight.
Chimaev maybe bad mouthed but he backs it up with his performance in the octagon. Only time will tell whether he does the same if he faces an opponent at 185 or 170 next.
