The ONE 160 card will be announced on August 26, 2022, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. In addition to the two title bouts, a championship with the continuation of the Muay Thai Grand Prix has also been added to the card.
The card will be headlined in a highly anticipated rematch between lightweight champion OK Rae Yoon (16-3) and Christian Lee (15-4), according to an announcement made by the promotion on Tuesday. In the co-main event, Le (13-2) will be on the featherweight title line against Tang Kai (14-2).
OK and Lee competed in Singapore in September 2021, where OK won the title with a unanimous decision. OK extended their winning streak to five, including victories against former one-time champion Marat Gafurov and former UFC and Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez in their first two promotions. With the loss to OK, Lee ended his six-fight winning streak, but now he has a chance to reclaim the title 11 months after the loss.
Featherweight champion Lee Kai defends his title by winning five fights. In March, he defeated Garry Tonon in less than a minute with TKO. He won the Bellator in October 2020 with a third-round knockout by Martin Nguyen. His win against Tonon was his first title defense.
While participating in the co-main event, Lee Dana White could well prove to be the best fighter to win the container series and Brendan Loughnane cannot sign with an apology. Lee, who also starred in The Ultimate Fighter Season 22, landed a head kick at KO in the Contender series but was somehow overlooked. The loss of the UFC has been the advantage of a championship: Thanh Le is currently on the verge of winning five fights, with success in all five fights.
Chinese challenger Tang Kai has not lost a fight for his part since 2017, with nine consecutive wins.
The main card is also set to include a 135-pound Grand Prix promotion. In the semi-final fight, Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Walter Goncalves will compete on the main card. And in the bracket substitute competition, Panpayaka Jitmuangnon and Sherzod Kabutov will meet.
A total of 10 bouts are expected to take place at ONE 160. Here is a full look at the card:
