Put in. The victory also marked D'Ridder's seventh ONE mixed martial arts victory and second defense of the ONE Middleweight World Championship. It was also his fourth submission victory at the Home of Martial Arts.

After the win, DeRidder said he now wants to set his sights on a third unification title as he moves up to heavyweight. And instead of wanting to fight the eventual winner between champion Arjan Bhullar and interim champion Anatoly Malykhin, DeRidder said he would rather fight them both on the same night.

In the co-main event, Janet Todd became an interim atom-weight Muay Thai world champion after a unanimous decision victory over WBC Muay Thai world champion Lara Fernandez. The victory makes Todd a two-sport world champion as she already holds the one-atom-weight kickboxing world title. The American striker also extended her winning streak to seven.
