Menshikov's win, which extended his knockout streak to three, has put him in prime position for another shot at the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title. Despite the overwhelming support for his opponent from the Bangkok crowd at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Menshikov remained focused on his task.

"I was doing my job. I didn’t think about this much. Of course, I knew that he’s a really famous Thai fighter, I knew that people were going to support him, but I didn’t care. My job is simple – to fight. And I was doing my job," Menshikov stated.

The Russian fighter faced a tough challenge from Sinsamut, who showcased impressive footwork, a strong kicking game, and precise counter-strikes in the opening rounds. However, Menshikov remained confident in his abilities.

"I believed that I was going to win. I knew I was going to win. Even between the second and third rounds, when I was talking to my trainer, I was telling him I was going to win. I was fresh. I was full of energy. I was going to win," he affirmed.

Following his victory over Sinsamut, Menshikov is eager for a rematch with reigning champion Regian “The Immortal” Eersel. However, his ambitions extend beyond just the Muay Thai gold.

"I want to take the belt – not just in Muay Thai, but kickboxing, too. It’s in my goals. I have plans for two belts," Menshikov declared, showcasing his determination to achieve two-sport glory in ONE Championship.
