The ONE Championship finally announced the full card of ONE 157: Petchmorakot vs Vienot, adding two more bouts pairs.
Featuring 2 Muay Thai World Title Fight, a big Muay Thai tournament, and a pair of epic grappling matches, ONE 157: Petchmorakot vs Vienot promises to be a night full of martial arts action.
The event, to be held in Singapore on May 20, 2022, will be titled Muay Thai Title Fight, in which featherweight champion Petchumorakot Petchindy will defend his title against Jimmy Vienot.
Patchmurakot won the title with a decisive victory over Pongsiri PK. Seanchai defended it in 2020, and twice this year with a decisive victory over the legendary Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex and a TKO victory over Magnus Andersson.
The card will be jointly titled by the champion Prajanchai PK through the Strawweight Muay Thai title fight. Seanchai and challenger Joseph Laseri. Thailand's Prajanchai won the title last summer with a decisive victory over Sam-A Gianghadau and will be looking for his first defense. His Italian opponent Laseri will try to speed up the knockout against Asahi Shinagawa at the end of last year.
In addition, Nat "Wondergirl" Jaroonsak, one of Muay Thai's most famous young fighters, is honing her skills in mixed martial arts.
The 23-year-old Thai will compete in her first MMA match against India's Zeba Bano on the lead card of the upcoming One Championship 157 event.
This will be Wondergirl's first fight since losing to Filipino-American star Jackie Buntan in a brutal decision in February 2020, which left her with a fractured face and double vision.
The recently unveiled Flyweight Muay Thai Grand Prix will also feature an early-round of ONE 157 promotions, featuring stars such as current champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon, former champion Jonathan Haggerty, as well as Taiki Naito and Walter Goncalves.
