Patchy Mix and Leandro Higo Set for Explosive Title Clash at Bellator Paris

Patchy Mix vs. Leandro Higo title fight set to headline Bellator Paris in November

Bellator's bantamweight champion, Patchy Mix, is set to defend his title against the formidable Leandro Higo in the main event of Bellator Paris on November 16. This highly anticipated showdown promises to be a highlight of the year for MMA fans.

Mix, with an impressive record of 20-1, recently retained his title in May after a nail-biting split decision against Magomed Magomedov. Currently, on a seven-fight winning streak, Mix has solidified his dominance with three title victories under the Bellator banner, boasting a near-perfect 9-1 record.

Leandro Higo, who holds a 23-6 record, traveled to Paris in May to witness Mix's fight against Magomedov. Post-fight, Higo was guaranteed the next title shot, despite the contentious outcome.

"Patchy Mix is to me, the greatest bantamweight in Bellator history for what he’s done and who he’s beaten,"

Higo stated. He earned his title shot after defeating Nikita Mikhailov and James Gallagher and is determined to dethrone Mix at the peak of his career.

The co-main event will feature Baissangour Chamsoudinov against Oliver Enkamp. Chamsoudinov, who boasts a perfect 8-0 record, controversially defeated French star Cedric Doumbe in his PFL debut in March due to an unfortunate injury. Enkamp (11-4) aims to bounce back from a 2023 decision loss to Luca Poclit in his sixth Bellator appearance.

"We are back in the French capital to put on another incredible show for the people of Paris, and we can’t wait for our debut in the Adidas Arena,"

PFL CEO Peter Murray announced. He highlighted Mix's status as one of the best bantamweights of all time and expressed excitement for the title fight against Higo. Murray also emphasized the return of France’s own Baissangour Chamsoudinov, a young phenom with a perfect record, who will face the seasoned Oliver Enkamp.

This event promises a spectacular display of elite mixed martial arts, with fans eagerly anticipating the high-stakes battles that lie ahead in Paris.
