PFL 6: Harrison vs. Young Weigh-In Results

PFL Final Regular Season Event PFL 6 is taking place Friday, July 1, 2022 inside the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The PFL 6 card contains welterweight fights from men, and lightweight on women.


In the main event, two-time women's lightweight champion Kayla Harrison (13-0) will face kaitlin Young (12-12-1). The main event of PFL 6 has changed a lot during the last one week, Julia Bud was out of the card due to injury. She is replaced by kaitlin Young, the women's champion in the sport who won her first fight of the season.


Harrison, a two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo, is undefeated through thirteen pro fights.


Young was the first fighter on the scale during the two-hour official window and weighed 155 pounds. Harrison weighed in at 155.6 to make her fight official.


In the co-feature, former Bellator Welterweight titleholder Rory MacDonald (23-8-1) and Sadibou Sy (10-6-2). McDonald's, which tops the welterweight standings, weighed 170.8 pounds. Sy came to 170.2.


The women's lightweight and welterweight division are competing for the second time this season on Friday, with one last chance to earn regular season points to qualify for the next season. In the last two competitions, four fighter play-off fields were set for featherweight, lightweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight.
