PFL Challenger Series 1 set for Feb. 18 in Orlando

Get ready for the world's most dangerous and thrilling competitions as PFL's new Challenger series kicks off on February 18 at Universal Studios in Orlando. Promotion officials announced a match-up of the cards. The first event of the February 18 Challenger series involves light heavyweights and will be headlined by a clash between two Division Legacy Fighting Alliance champions Joshua Silveira and Mohamed Juma. The remaining 5 205 pairs are as follows: Alexander Popeck vs. Taylor Johnson; Joao Paulo Fagandis vs. Bruce Soto and Simon Powell vs. Carl Williams. The PFL President said that the Challenger Series is a kind of MMA competition where fighters from all walks of life and experience will have the opportunity to prove themselves in front of a panel of martial arts legends and global icons. And turn your dreams into reality. The PFL Challenger series gives fighters the opportunity to compete in a PFL contract and promotion season format. The cards will be housed at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla. "It was a great experience for me and our team as we set out in search of the best fighters from around the world," said PFL President of Fighter Operations Ray Sefo. "We are proud of the roster of elite fighters that will be on display from February 18 when our lightweight heavyweights enter the cage. I see these amazing athletes stepping out of this life-changing opportunity. I'm excited. And then we're going to do it again, a week later, with Welterweight. " Meanwhile, next week, Welter will highlight the weightlifting athletes who will be the top card in the competition between Brave Combat Federation champions Jarrah Al-Slavi and Michael Lilly. Additional match-ups for the February 25 card include: Delano Taylor vs. Mark Martin; Carlos Lille Miranda vs. Socrates Pierre and Lucas Barbosa vs. Troy Green.
