Following the official acquisition of Bellator by the PFL in November, anticipation has been building for an event that will feature top fighters from both promotions facing off against each other.

During the announcement of the upcoming event, Pinedo engaged in a staredown with Pitbull, the reigning Bellator featherweight champion, setting the stage for an intense showdown.
