Phil Rowe vs. Abubakar Nurmagomedov Removed from UFC on ABC 3

It is true that misfortune does not come by telling. A similar incident between Abubakar Nurmagomedov and Philip Rowe, a welterweight clash that was scheduled to take place on July 16, 2022, at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY, has been canceled.


The UFC announced on Tuesday that Rowe and Nurmagomedov will play for Saturday's UFC in Long Island, NY. The welterweight competition scheduled for the ABC 3 event at UBS Arena has been canceled due to complications on both sides. Rowe has had to give up due to injury, while Nurmagomedov is dealing with visa issues.


Following this announcement on ABC, the UFC will now go ahead with 12 fights.


Nurmagomedov (16-3-1) will take part in the fight for the first time in 2022, and wants to advance to victory against Jared Gooden in May 2021. The victory took the former cousin to a two-fight winning streak. - Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, who saw him lose to David Zawada, and drew with Bojan Veleckovic in the 2018 PFL quarterfinals.


Rowe (9-3) wanted to extend their first UFC winning streak after their second consecutive round of TKO victories against Jason Witt and Orion Cosce. Overall, New Yorkers have won nine of their last 10 fights.


Abubakar Nurmagomedov and Phil Rowe will face off in a welterweight bout at UFC Long Island next month.


UFC Long Island has been named for featherweight contenders Brian Ortega and Jair Rodriguez. The following matchups have been reported for the event, which is scheduled to air on the broadcast network ABC:
