POSSIBLE ELIMINATOR BOUT, WINNER GETS CANELO

Teams Canelo , Morrel and Benavides have been in talks just in casé the Bivol v.s Canelo rematch does become official, there will be an eliminator bout between Morrel and Benavides. The winner gets ofcourse the big payday in a fight with Canelo. If Canelo were to win ofcourse to see who the best 168 pounder really is.

Both are champions, Morrel being the WBA champ and Benavides the WBC intrim champ. Both are young and at the top of their game and at the top of the supermiddleweight división. Both are very dangerous but Benavides has a much better resume having fought better opposition. Things will really get complicated if Canelo v.s Bivol goes at 168lbs. Bivol has said many times that if he gives Canelo the rematch it would be at 168lbs so he can have all the belts. He said that in 168lbs it would be a motivation given the fact that he believes the rematch would be easier and that would be the only reason he would be interested in giving Canelo the rematch, to be undisputed 168lbs champion. We will have to wait and see how things turn out in these couple of weeks. Personally I'd rather see Canelo fight Benavides because I believe it would be an epic war. If Canelo v.s Bivol happends I see Bivol winning easier this time out. Remember ladies and gents this is boxing and anything can happen.
