PRICHARD COLÓN PASSES AWAY 🕊️🥊

Richard Colón, father of the former Puerto Rican boxer Prichard “Digget” Colón, announced the passing of his son through his social media networks.

"I regret to inform you of the departure of my son Prichard from this earthly world," he expressed in an emotional message, where he also expressed his gratitude for the years of love, support, and prayers received by his family.

Prichard's story left a deep mark on the world of boxing. In October 2015, his promising career changed forever following his bout against Terrel Williams, after which he suffered a severe brain injury. Since then, his life was accompanied by an untiring fight and by the care and dedication of his family.

Prichard was only 23 years old when that tragedy occurred. His story transcended the ring and also became a permanent reminder of the responsibility to protect the life and integrity of every boxer.
