Samuel "Sam" Berger (Chicago, Illinois, December 25, 1884 – San Francisco, California, February 23, 1925) was an American boxer. He won a gold medal in the heavyweight category during the 1904 St. Louis Olympic Games. At 6'2" and 200 lbs., he had a promising future for a professional title, but critics of the time blamed his lack of aggressiveness.
At this level he had a record of three wins and one loss.
His most notable fight was against Philadelphia Jack O'Brien which ended in a no decision after six rounds in the middle heavyweight class.
