Stamp Fairtex Eyes Late 2025 Return After Knee Setback, Vows to Reclaim ONE Atomweight Gold

Stamp Fairtex, the dynamic former three-sport ONE World Champion, is on the long road to recovery and aiming for a triumphant return to the Circle by the end of 2025. After capturing the ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title with a third-round knockout of Ham Seo Hee in September 2023 at ONE Fight Night 14, the Thai sensation seemed poised for a dominant reign. However, fate had other plans.

The 27-year-old has been absent from competition since that memorable night at Singapore Indoor Stadium, where her striking brilliance was once again on full display. She was scheduled to make her first title defense at ONE 167, but a serious knee injury derailed those plans and forced her into a lengthy rehabilitation period.

Initially optimistic about a summer 2025 comeback, Stamp’s recovery hit an unexpected obstacle that pushed her return further. Yet, in a recent update, the beloved Thai superstar shared a positive outlook on her recovery and growing hunger to compete again.

“I think I’m gonna use this next two months – this month and next month – to look at my knee first because right now it’s full rehab,” she said.“So I want to know how my knee is. If it’s better, I can schedule. But I think this year, I can fight. I think in six months I can. But it’s up to my knee also. I’m really hungry to fight already.”

Stamp’s fighting spirit hasn’t dimmed in her absence. Despite the frustration of being sidelined, she remains determined to reclaim the title she had to relinquish due to injury. In her absence, her longtime friend and divisional rival, Denice Zamboanga, claimed the atomweight crown — a development that stirred deep emotions in Stamp.

“My emotions were very not okay because I felt like I trained really hard, fought really hard, to get the belt, and now, I easily gave it to her,” she confessed.“It’s better if I give my belt to her because everyone wants the belt, and everyone wants to be the champion. So, I just gave my belt first, and if everything is 100 percent, I will fight with her again.”

This pledge sets up a highly anticipated clash when she returns — a long-awaited showdown between Stamp Fairtex and Denice Zamboanga that would not only settle a personal score but also electrify the atomweight division.

While fans wait patiently, Stamp remains focused on healing and preparing for her comeback. Her eyes are set firmly on the belt, and her drive to return stronger than ever is palpable. With her star power, charisma, and knockout ability, her eventual return will be one of the most exciting stories in ONE Championship’s women’s MMA landscape.
