Tyson Fury has promised that he will humiliate Oleksandr Usyk if they square up later in 2023.
According to Fury's promoter Frank Warren, there are hopes and expectations that the bout will happen as early as March 2023.
The discussion between the English and Ukrainian boxers has been heated over the past several weeks and months, but Fury recently took it to a new level in an interview with The Telegraph.
“I don't think he's big enough and strong enough to stand up to the punches," Fury said of the Ukrainian.
"It's a challenge, he'll be running away like a little b***h all night. I will hunt him down and, when I get hold of him, he'll be crushed.”
Usyk received much recognition from the boxing world in 2022 after he made the decision to return to his native Ukraine to aid in the resistance to the Russian invasion. Since then, he has come back and has kept boxing.
