Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2

The weigh-ins for Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2 have set the stage for a dramatic heavyweight showdown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this Saturday. Usyk, known for his technical brilliance and speed, weighed in at 226 pounds, while Fury tipped the scales at a staggering 281 pounds, giving the Briton a 55-pound weight advantage. Both fighters remained fully clothed during the weigh-in, potentially contributing to their official numbers.

In their first meeting, Fury weighed 262 pounds compared to Usyk’s 223.5 pounds. Despite Fury’s size advantage, Usyk emerged victorious via split decision, becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion and handing Fury (34-1-1) his first professional loss. The judges scored their May 2024 contest narrowly in Usyk’s favor, with scores of 115–112, 114–113, and 113–114.
