The UFC is returning to its apex in Las Vegas this weekend for its latest Fight Night event. But this weekend's UFC Fight Night title will feature two athletes most fans may not be familiar with. But a thrilling action can be expected from them.
UFC Vegas 57 airs live from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, June 25, with the main contestant Arman Tsarukyan of No. 11 competing against the No. 12 Mateusz Gamrot, the emerging contenders on impressive streaks.
It is fair to say that the title lacks value in comparison to this headline, as neither Arman Tsarukyan nor Mateusz Gamrot have ever appeared on such a large number of cards before, nor has the man yet Worked as a star.
Arman Tsarukyan vs. Mateusz Gamrot
ArmanTsarukyan (18-2) is riding for five wins. Joel Alvarez was knocked out in the second round by the No. 11 contender in his last match at UFC Vegas 49 in February. In 2021, he defeated Christos Giagos in Round 1 and made a unanimous decision against Matt Frevola.
Mateusz Gamrot (22-1, 1 NC) has three consecutive victories. TKO'd Carlos Diego Ferreira, the No. 12 contender at the end of last year, in the second round. Earlier, the former KSW champion of the two divisions (145 lbs and 155 lbs) submitted to Jeremy Stephens in Round 1 and KO'd Scott Holtzman in Round 1.
However, it is difficult not to see this fight as similar to the fight between Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway in 2015. At the time, none of these fighters were close to the stars they are today - but the UFC shot them, and in the end, they went to greatness.

In the co-main event, Neil Magni (26-8) is up against unbeaten Shavkat Rakhmonov (15-0) in Welterweight. The No. 10 ranked Magny has won his last two bouts, including a split against Max Griffin and a UD against Geoff Neal. Rakhmonov, ranked 15th, won all 15 bouts before the final horn, most recently beating Carlston Harris by knockout in the first round.
