UFC London 2022: How many fights have been booked so far?

London is finally back in action after 3 years. Because the UFC is finally ready to return to the UK. UFC Fight Night 204 takes place on March 19, 2022 at The O2 Arena in London. This will be the first promotion event in London since March 2019.

The last UFC tour of London was in March 2019. In UFC Fight Night 147, Jorge Masvidal began his "doomsday" with a brutal knockout victory over Darren Till in the main event. UFC Fight Night in March 2020: Woodley vs Edwards was expected to return to UFC City, but the event was canceled due to COVID-19 epidemic.

UFC Fight Night 204 is set to headline the heavyweight fight between Alexander Volkov and Tom Spaniel. Aspinall is the most dangerous and shining star on the UFC roster. Aspinall which has been unbeaten since joining the promotion. Volkov, the former ballet heavyweight champion, will be Britain's toughest test ever.

The event was to headline a bantamweight fight between Jack Shore and Omar Nurmagomedov. However, Nurmagomedov was removed from the bout for unknown reasons and was replaced by Timur Valiev.

Former Belllator Heavyweight Champion Alexander Volkov (34-9 MMA, 8-3 UFC) defeated Marcin Tybura in UFC 267 on October 30, 2021. He won the contest by a unanimous decision. This is not the first time Volkov has been the event's headliner.

Before facing Marsin Tybura, Volkov made headlines for UFC Fight Night 190 against Ciryl Gain. However, they lost the battle by a unanimous decision. This will be his sixth event as headliner.

The Spaniard was scheduled to face Shamal Abdulrahimov on March 19, 2022 in UFC Fight Night 204. However, the Spaniard was ruled out of the bout but will remain on the card and face another opponent which will be announced at a later date and Abdulrahimov will face Sergei. Instead, Pavlovich.

But more importantly, Alexander Volkov's head-to-head fight against Tom ASpinalll in UFC Fight Night 204 could be jeopardized by the British government's ongoing sanctions against Russian players.

"The visa has been issued," said Ivan Bennikov, Volkov's manager. "Everything will depend on the new sanctions. But for now, it's all irrelevant, because our thoughts are on the people who died in Ukraine, on both sides. Our thoughts and prayers are with them."

Unbeatable chances in the event were to have a bantamweight bout between Jack Shore and Omar Nurmagomedov. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, Nurmagomedov withdrew from the race and was replaced by Timur Valev.

Shore, 26, is unbeaten in 15 professional bouts and faces Timor-Leste of Russia, who have an 18-2 record and have not lost since 2016.

Paddy Pimblett is also set to be featured on the main card. The Beddy will face Rodrigo Vargas in his second UFC match. Unbeaten English flyweights Jack Headley and Mohamed Mokaev are also set to make their UFC debuts tonight.
