Today in Thailand, the Japanese Umi Ishikawa (11-2) became the new WBC Minimumweight Silver World Champion by defeating the Thai Sothita Sitthichai (8-2) by unanimous decision.
Umi Ishikawa was previously the WBC Atom International Champion.
