Tonight Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk went face to face for the WBO, WBA, and IBF heavyweight titles. Usyk managed to best Joshua by unanimous decision. It was an amazing fight but there were no crazy knockdowns or anything like that. Just Usyk setting the pace for most of the fight.
With Usyk now 19-0, and holder of the heavyweight titles. He better get ready to have the target on his back. Usyk will likely wind up facing a winner of the upcoming Fury VS Wilder bout. Surprisingly tonight, Joshua gave one excuses and explained that Usyk was the better man tonight.
"This means much for me, a lot. The fight went exactly the way I expected it to go. There were a couple of moments when Anthony pushed me hard but nothing special. I have been working so hard since January in preparation for this fight. It took me some half a year and I didn't see my family for so long. I miss my children and I miss watching them play. I want to go home and be happy and I'm not thinking about the rematch at this second." Usyk said post fight.
