Zolani Marali

Africa has given us great boxers and one of them was Zolani Marali.

Zolani Marali born in South Africa, was South African Super Bantamweight Champion, IBO World Super Bantamweight Champion, World Boxing Foundation World Super Bantamweight Champion, World Boxing Foundation and IBO World Super Featherweight Champion and World Boxing Federation World Super Lightweight Champion.

In his professional career, which consists of 30 fights, he beat rivals like Ali Funeka, Gamaliel Diaz. Other notable rivals in his career were Billy Dib and Julius Indongo (against whom he would have his last fight as a professional). Unfortunately on February 5, 2022, Zolani Marali was shot to death due to an attempted robbery, in his apartment in Johannesburg, Marali was 44 years old.
