Taking to social media, Ferguson hinted at a potential return to action, stating,  "New missions acknowledged." The announcement comes after a difficult stretch for Ferguson, whose career has seen a dramatic downturn. Once considered one of the most dangerous fighters in the lightweight division, Ferguson (25-11) now holds the unfortunate record of eight consecutive losses in the UFC. His latest defeat came in August 2024, when he was submitted by Michael Chiesa. Despite these setbacks, Ferguson remains defiant, refusing to bow to the pressures of retirement. UFC CEO Dana White has publicly suggested that Ferguson consider stepping away from the sport, but the 39-year-old has yet to confirm his plans regarding his future with the promotion. The cryptic nature of Ferguson’s recent post leaves much to speculation. While some fans hope for a triumphant return to the octagon, others wonder if this  "new mission"  could involve a different organization or even a shift in career focus. Regardless, Ferguson's resilience and determination have earned him a loyal following, with many eager to see how this next chapter unfolds. Ferguson, known for his unorthodox fighting style and relentless pace, once reigned as the interim lightweight champion and was on a legendary 12-fight winning streak in the UFC. His decline has been stark, but his spirit remains unbroken. Whether this latest hint leads to another fight in the UFC or a venture outside the promotion, one thing is certain: Tony Ferguson continues to defy expectations. • Why Sean Strickland and Jake Shields Need to Lead with Love - Stop Spreading Hate

FIGHT.TV Combat sports have always been a stage for more than just physical prowess. Fighters are leaders, influencers, and, whether they realize it or not, role models to millions. This comes with a profound responsibility to use their platform for good. Recently, fighters like Sean Strickland and Jake Shields have been in the spotlight not for their skills inside the cage but for their divisive rhetoric outside of it. Their comments, which often come across as antisemitic or Islamophobic, fail to reflect the leadership and strength they’re capable of displaying. It’s time for fighters to rise above such hate and embrace a higher calling: to lead with love and light. Why Hate is a Losing Game When fighters use their voices to spread division, they’re not just hurting their reputation; they’re fueling the very forces of evil they think they’re fighting against. Blanket statements about Jews or Muslims don’t just alienate groups of people; they feed into the cycle of hatred that has plagued humanity for generations. As fighters, they know better than anyone that battles are not won by blindly swinging in all directions. A targeted, focused approach is required—and in the arena of social issues, that approach should be grounded in faith, love, and understanding. Let us remember the Apostle Paul. Before his transformative encounter with Christ, he was Saul, a man who actively persecuted Christians. If the world had condemned him completely, where would we be? His story is a testament to God’s grace and the power of redemption. Fighters should take this lesson to heart. It is not our job to condemn entire groups of people. Instead, we are called to be vessels of God’s love and mercy, showing the way through our actions and words. The Role of Faith in Leadership Fighters who identify as Christians are called to a higher standard. Jesus’ teachings remind us that meekness is not weakness; it’s strength under control. Leading with meekness doesn’t mean turning a blind eye to atrocities—whether it’s Israel’s war crimes, Islamic terror attacks, or any other form of evil. It means standing firm in faith, calling out wrongdoing, but doing so in a way that glorifies God and seeks to heal rather than harm. We are all children of God. Jews, Christians, Muslims—all trace their spiritual lineage back to Abraham. While some hearts have hardened, and some have turned to evil, we are not called to fight fire with fire. Hate only breeds more hate. Instead, we must break the cycle by leading with love, understanding, and the unwavering truth of God’s word. Who Benefits from Division? The truth is, there are forces at work that profit from division. Those pulling the strings—hidden in the shadows—thrive on fueling conflict between Jews, Muslims, and Christians. They fund both sides, perpetuating cycles of violence and mistrust. The result? Innocents suffer, homelands are destroyed, and generations grow up believing the only solution is more bloodshed. But God’s solution is bigger than that. As fighters, as leaders, and as Christians, it’s crucial to call out evil where it exists without painting entire communities with the same brush. It’s not easy, and it’s not supposed to be. But the path of love and truth was never meant to be simple. Fighters know better than most that the hardest battles are the ones most worth fighting. A Call to Action for Sean Strickland, Jake Shields, and All Fighters To the fighters of the world: You’re not just warriors in the cage; you’re warriors in life. Your platform gives you the opportunity to be more than just athletes. You can be examples of masculine leadership grounded in faith, love, and strength. Use your voice not to condemn but to uplift. Show the world what it means to be a true champion—not just in combat but in character. Lead with love. Lead with light. Speak the truth boldly, but speak it with the intent to heal, not harm. Recognize that the battle is not against flesh and blood but against the forces of darkness that seek to divide us. Through faith, humility, and courage, you can make a difference that goes far beyond the cage. Don't stop what you're doing, just change the way you're doing it. As Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Fighters, let that be your legacy. Not one of hate, but one of hope. Not one of division, but one of unity under the grace of God.

Known for his striking prowess and strategic mindset, Naito has captivated fans and aspiring fighters with his compelling fighting style. His ability to blend traditional Muay Thai techniques with modern strategies makes every fight not just a challenge, but an exciting exhibition of skill and determination. The Fighting Style of Taiki Naito At the core of Taiki Naito's success is his unique fighting style, which balances elegance and ferocity. Drawing from Muay Thai's rich history, he expertly incorporates traditional techniques while remaining flexible and adaptive in the ring. Naito excels in agility and footwork, creating a dynamic presence that keeps his opponents on edge. His lateral movement combined with quick pivots allows him to dodge strikes while maintaining an offensive stance. For example, during his fight against a top contender last year, Naito used lateral movement to evade 85% of incoming punches while landing 60% of his own, showcasing his defensive and offensive skills simultaneously. In terms of striking, Naito’s use of elbows and knees has reached a level that few can rival. His precision with these powerful techniques often disrupts his opponents' rhythm, leading to numerous knockout opportunities. By combining speed and power, Naito has established himself as both a fearsome competitor and a crowd favorite. Signature Moves: What Sets Naito Apart Taiki Naito's striking toolkit is diverse and effective. While many of his techniques are rooted in traditional Muay Thai, Naito adds unique twists that elevate them to a different level. One of his standout techniques is the “Naito Elbow.” This move features a swift, diagonal swing of the elbow that not only maximizes impact but also serves as a counter-attack against incoming strikes. By timing this strike perfectly, Naito can gain a significant advantage, often turning the tide of a fight in his favor. In a recent match, he used this technique to deliver a stunning knockout, sending shockwaves through the audience. Naito’s leg kicks are another critical component of his fighting style. He strategically employs both low and high kicks to destabilize his opponents. For example, during his recent championship bout, he executed 25 leg kicks, successfully compromising his opponent's balance and mobility, which limited their striking options as the fight progressed. Furthermore, Naito’s clinch work highlights his deep understanding of close-range tactics in Muay Thai. He skillfully utilizes knees and elbows within the clinch, often creating openings for powerful strikes or quick exits. This expertise has contributed to many of his victories, making his clinch game a pivotal aspect of his overall fighting strategy. Taiki Naito demonstrating a Muay Thai technique in a fight. Tactical Insights: Learning from Naito’s Fights To truly appreciate Naito's mastery, one must analyze the tactical elements of his fights. This psychological element not only distracts but also causes hesitation in rivals, which Naito expertly exploits for maximum advantage. In a recent fight, he successfully executed this strategy, leading to a significant scoring opportunity that ultimately secured his victory. Adaptability is another key insight. Naito adjusts his game plan based on the strengths and weaknesses of his opponents. For instance, he carefully studies their movements in the early rounds, whether waiting for a mistake or identifying patterns to leverage later. This strategic flexibility has placed him ahead of many competitors. Effective stamina management is yet another hallmark of Naito's approach. By controlling the fight's pace, he conserves energy for explosive moments when needed. Reports indicate that he maintains a remarkable endurance level, allowing him to remain calm under pressure and capitalize on opportunities with precise timing. The Journey Ahead: Taiki Naito's Impact Taiki Naito exemplifies the peak of Muay Thai mastery, showcasing a remarkable blend of traditional techniques and modern tactics that consistently keeps his competitors guessing. • Claressa Shields Rejects MMA Fight, Claims She Would Dominate Cris Cyborg in a Street Fight

Claressa Shields The tension between Claressa Shields and Cris Cyborg has reached a boiling point as the two combat sports legends exchange verbal jabs over a potential showdown. Shields, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, and five-weight boxing world champion made it clear she has no interest in an MMA fight against Cyborg but confidently stated, “Lord knows, I would f*** Cris Cyborg up in a street fight.” Once training partners, their relationship soured in recent years, escalating in 2024 when Cyborg challenged Shields to face her in either boxing or the PFL cage. Shields, however, dismissed Cyborg’s callouts as attention-seeking. “She wants the clout,” Shields remarked on the Pound 4 Pound podcast.  “She’s old and I’m new. I’m popping right now. She’s a hater.” Shields also claimed to have dominated Cyborg during sparring, adding, “She’s lucky I didn’t knock her ass out.” Shields, who has dabbled in MMA with a 2-1 record in the PFL, acknowledged that facing Cyborg in the cage would be a steep uphill battle. “I’m not going to fight Cris Cyborg in MMA,” Shields admitted.  “She’s got too much experience. ... Boxing is a more fair sport.” Cyborg, an MMA icon and former UFC featherweight champion with a budding 4-0 boxing record, remains one of the most accomplished fighters in women’s MMA history. While she has expressed interest in a cross-disciplinary clash, Shields has stood firm, insisting any fight between them should happen in the boxing ring, where she holds a clear advantage. The animosity between the two fighters has created significant buzz, with Shields stating she is open to a boxing match after her upcoming bout in February 2025. “She said she wants to fight at 154. I fight Feb. 2 in Flint, Michigan, at heavyweight, 175, for the undisputed championship. Then guess what? She can get her ass kicked Feb. 3, the next day. It’s simple.” Whether the fight happens or not, Shields’ bold statements have set the stage for a potential clash that fans across combat sports are eager to see.

  • Anthony Joshua Calls Out Tyson Fury for 2025 Clash

Anthony Joshua Anthony Joshua Calls Out Tyson Fury for 2025 Clash The boxing world is buzzing once again as Anthony Joshua, the former two-time heavyweight champion, has publicly expressed his desire to face Tyson Fury in what could be the most significant heavyweight bout of the modern era. Speaking during a visit to Nigeria, the birthplace of his parents, Joshua emphasized that a fight with Fury is inevitable and must take place in 2025. “Of course, it has to happen, and hopefully, it does happen,” Joshua told SportsBoom.com. “I’ve been involved in a whole lot of fights, but this has to happen in 2025.” The Fight Fans Deserve Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, reiterated that a Joshua-Fury matchup remains the only genuinely massive fight left for both boxers. The two British heavyweights have captured the imaginations of fans worldwide with their distinct personalities and styles, and the clash has been a dream for boxing enthusiasts for years. Despite their individual losses to Oleksandr Usyk—the man widely regarded as one of the greatest technical fighters of this generation—a Joshua-Fury bout remains unparalleled in its allure. There’s even speculation about the possibility of not just one, but two fights between Joshua and Fury, with mega-money to be made for both competitors. These bouts could cement their legacies while giving fans closure on one of boxing’s most long-awaited rivalries. Why This Fight Matters Aside from a potential showdown between Joshua and Deontay Wilder—a fight that arguably should have occurred before Wilder’s first loss to Fury in 2020—Joshua versus Fury is the defining heavyweight match-up of its time. Both fighters have held multiple world titles and dominated the division, and their contrasting styles make the prospect of their meeting even more compelling. Joshua’s disciplined power-punching approach would face off against Fury’s unorthodox movement and psychological warfare. The Ball is in Fury’s Court While Joshua’s intentions are clear, all eyes are now on Fury. Will “The Gypsy King,” known for his flamboyant proclamations and often unpredictable career decisions, step up to the challenge? Fury, who has hinted at retirement multiple times, might find the lure of another massive payday hard to resist. Saudi Arabia, known for hosting blockbuster combat sports events, could offer enormous financial incentives through figures like Turki Alalshikh. Still, questions linger about Fury’s willingness to risk his undefeated status in marquee fights, especially after his trilogy with Wilder and victories against lesser opposition. Will the Fight Happen? The anticipation for this bout is palpable, but the ball firmly lies in Fury’s court. The boxing community now awaits his response. Will he rise to the occasion and agree to a showdown that could define an era, or will he opt for retirement, leaving fans to wonder what could have been? As Joshua aptly stated, “this fight has to happen.” For the sake of their legacies and the sport of boxing, let’s hope Fury shares the sentiment. The countdown to 2025 has officially begun. • Aaron Pico Becomes Free Agent: Manager Discusses Options and Future

Aaron Pico Aaron Pico once hailed as the greatest prospect in MMA history, is now a free agent, poised to explore new opportunities across the sport's premier organizations. The 28-year-old fighter debuted in 2017 under the Bellator banner at just 20 years old. Despite a rocky start, Pico has since demonstrated remarkable resilience, winning nine of his last ten bouts. The sole loss in that streak came via an unfortunate in-fight shoulder dislocation. Pico's most recent appearance was a dominant first-round TKO victory over Henry Corrales at February’s PFL vs. Bellator: Champions event in Saudi Arabia. However, inactivity has been a recurring theme for Pico, as he’s fought only three times in the past two years. This inactivity, stemming from the Bellator-PFL merger in late 2023, has frustrated several fighters. Ali Abdelaziz, Pico’s manager and head of Dominance MMA, recently revealed that Pico’s free agency status has kept him from joining others in voicing their concerns. Abdelaziz explained, “Pico didn’t say nothing because he’s a free agent. He can shop here very soon, after 90 days (of exclusive negotiation period). Maybe before the 90 days PFL make him a deal he cannot refuse, I don’t know.” Pico’s exclusivity period with the PFL ends in January 2025, after which he can negotiate freely with any organization. Abdelaziz hinted that top promotions like the UFC are likely interested, and Pico is open to considering all options. “Pico’s a businessman. Pico likes money,” Abdelaziz said.  “Of course, he would love to become a UFC champion, but if PFL can offer me a deal I can’t refuse, then he’s going to take it. But if he said, ‘I want to go to the UFC,’ I have to go get an offer from the UFC and PFL can have the right to match it.” Whether Pico chooses to remain with the PFL or explore the UFC and other opportunities, Abdelaziz emphasized the importance of finding a deal that ensures both financial security and consistent competition.
